Re:Build Fikst LLC (Fikst) a Re:Build Manufacturing LLC (Re:Build) company is a growing product design and engineering consulting firm located in Woburn MA. We work with pioneering clients to develop their technology design their products and bring those products to production. Fiksts areas of expertise include biomedical instruments and consumables microfluidics specialty plastic design optics industrial automation and design for manufacturing. We have extensive inhouse laboratory and rapid prototyping capability including CNCs 3D printers and laser cutters all of which helps facilitate our ability to prototype and innovate fast.

Who we are looking for

Were hiring experienced mechanical engineers who are excited for the variety and challenge of product development. In this role you will exercise your mechanical design experience in an energetic and progressive consulting environment. Youll join a group of talented engineers to lead the development of new technologies and bring new products to market. You will be a lead technical contributor in addition to leading client communication and project management. You will support your team through the product design process coaching young engineers through technical challenges while balancing project scope and timelines. You will do all of this in lively collaboration with your fellow engineers and our clients.

What you bring to the Team

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 812 years of industry experience
• Broad technical background and the desire to learn more
• 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience with a range of manufacturing processes is a plus (injection molding machining sheet metal casting etc.
• Experience designing biomedical products or industrial automation a plus
• Experience in consulting is a plus
