We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in London. This role involves providing specialist clinical expertise in the assessment treatment and management of language communication and swallowing problems in adult clients within a tertiary setting including neurorehabilitation. The successful candidate will deliver evidencebased interventions evaluate outcomes and maintain associated records as an autonomous practitioner.
What will your responsibilities be:
As an Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist you will demonstrate highly specialist knowledge and clinical skills in the assessment and management of patients with language communication and swallowing disorders. You will provide interpretative assessment techniques and interventions for patients with tracheostomies and those requiring instrumental procedures such as videofluoroscopy. Your role will include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally you will provide education and support to patients and their caregivers and contribute to the continuous improvement of therapy services.
