Position Description
In this role you will oversee a team of engineers technicians and support staff on water resource projects guiding them from the planning stage through design and construction. You will be responsible for independently managing projects contributing to the development of detailed project plans and specifications and mentoring your team to ensure highquality outcomes. Lead Engineers typically report to a sector leader or principal within the firm and are also involved in general marketing efforts and business development activities.

Requirements (Must haves and Preferred)

  • Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering required.

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.

  • Professional Engineers License preferred or ability to be licensed within 612 months required.

  • 515 Years of experience working as a Civil Engineer in the water resources and storm water management field.

  • Strong project management skills and experience.

  • Construction management experience is also required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite.

  • Adaptable work style with a willingness to adjust your schedule as needed to meet deadlines and accommodate client needs.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).

  • Experience in watershed modeling storm water collection system design pump station designsizing and selecting equipment preparing civil design drawings and preparing cost opinions is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or other CADDbased civil design software is a plus.

  • A valid drivers license is required or the ability to obtain one.
