I have a client located in Fort Collins CO with an immediate hiring need for a Senior Electrical Engineer. If you or anyone you know is interested as well as qualified for this position please click the Apply button.
Responsibilities include preparation of electrical power design of 277/480volt and 120/240volt systems including conductor and conduit sizing MCC layout motor controls grounding system and control system designs.
Daily duties:
- Perform analyses prepare drawings and write specifications
- Responsible for preparing work product
- Technical advisor for electrical and controls design
- Prepare scope and budgets for proposals
- Oversee construction projects as Client representative
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E. registered in State of Colorado
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required
- At least 510 years of experience required
- 40Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
Viable applicants will also have the following experience:
- Low voltage power design
- Instrumentation design
- Field experience with troubleshooting and installing systems
- Process design of instrumentation and controls systems for water treatment and industrial facilities
- Knowledge of SCADA systems operation and design
- Knowledge of instruments to fit process requirements and coordination with overall SCADA & PLC systems
- Preparation of arc flash studies
- Knowledge of medium voltage utility power designs (helpful)
- Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations groups team members and individuals
- Ability to lead and mentor junior staff
Payrate: $120k$175k DOE
