Job Description
Lake Mohawk Golf Club is under new management located in Sparta NJ. We are looking for Golf Shop Assistants to join our team. The Golf Shop Assistant will assist the Professional staff in the daytoday golf operations in the Golf Shop and outdoor services.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at work on time and prepared to start work at the designated start time.
- Assist members with any needs they may have.
- Opening/Closing procedures.
- Retail Sales.
- Monitor Pace of Play.
- Checkin/fee collection.
- Cleanliness of the Golf Shop.
- Communication with other golf staff about members needs.
- Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests. Focus attention on member and guest needs and remain calm professional and courteous at all times.
- Help with range set up and tear down.
- Picking the range at times when needed.
- Cleaning of golf carts and getting them ready for play.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience Required
- General golf knowledge preferred but not required.
- Position is a Seasonal position from May to October. Applicants should be available to work until the end of the Season. Applicants need to be able to work weekends and some holidays.
