Job Description
Description
- Working on a team of engineers to support requirements development system design allocation of requirements to subsystems subsystem development system testing and integration of complex hardware and software designs system delivery and onsite integration and postdelivery support
- Responsibilities include requirement documentation preliminary and critical design integration and testing of complex hardware and software designs
- Developing documenting and recommending solutions or improvements for technical engineering problems
- Supporting the integration of hardware and software into a ground based radar
- Periodic travel to test locations will be required

Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering and five 5 years of work related experience or a Masters degree in Engineering and three 3 years of work related experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires the application of complex technical professional disciplines requiring a fouryear degree or equivalent and the extensive applied use of related concepts practices and methods
- Requires a senior level of proficiency to apply significant job related experience
- Experience with FPGA implementations utilizing VHDL is required
- May assist others as a lead practitioner
Desired Skills
- Field Programmable Gate Arrays FPGA) experience and experience using XILINX as a development platform
- RF engineering
- Experience with schematic capture/ Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
Travel Requirements
