POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager & Analyst is responsible for coordinating and managing business intelligence tools and performing data analysis for the B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group. He or she focuses on reporting for the Hospitality Group with a specific focus on Hotel Operations Food and Beverage and Guest Satisfaction.
The Project Manager & Analyst must possess strong analytical and strategic problem solving skills. Having the ability to collaborate while at the same time having the initiative to analyze information create a plan and execute is key. This individual must be highly driven focused and able to balance multiple priorities and issues in an ongoing fashion.
This individual reports to the VP of Hotel Performance Support and works closely with corporate and propertylevel leadership teams to support and drive desired results.

With a strong focus on analytics business intelligence and performance data the primary duties and responsibilities for the Project Manager & Analyst include but are not limited to the following:
Implementation of Business Intelligence Tools
Upkeep of Business Intelligence tools and reporting
Analysis of performance data
Policy and Procedure Administration
Flash forecasting review and analysis
Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Scorecard Big 3 STR and Revinate Reporting
Regular and ad hoc reporting through Business Intelligence Tools
Administer Incentive Plan Program
Monitor and train on online review platforms
Participating in the annual business planning process including updating budgeting tools preparing companywide budget line items reviewing revenue and expense projections
Assist in the evaluation and underwriting of potential developments and acquisitions
Involvement in community and industry organization that enhance his/her professional network and benefits the strategic interest of the B. F. Saul Hospitality Group
Completing other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS /ABILITIES):
Previous hotel experience or analyst experience of at least two years is preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a Must
Previous business intelligence software experience (e.g. IBM Cognos Business Objects Tableau etc. is highly desirable
Previous experience with hotel property management systems such as Opera Fosse and OnQ is desirable
Excellence in communications problem solving skills and process improvement
Ability to use independent judgment to solve issues
Ability to learn by doing
Strong work ethic and professional focus; the willingness to commit the time needed for success and to work smart towards company objectives
High level of personal integrity discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Team oriented personality; the ability to work effectively to accomplish performance goals and objectives
Physical: Ability to push pull and lift up to 20 pounds on occasional basis
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree preferably in Hospitality Management Business or Finance
$75000 $100000 a year
The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables including as appropriate the applicants qualifications for the position years of relevant experience distinctive skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held.
