The mission of the Engineering TPM team is to drive Figmas most important crosscompany engineering efforts and we are looking for a Technical Program Manager to partner with our Tech org on AI/MLrelated initiatives. The TPM provides oversight of the most important efforts that require coordinated technical across the Org in order to succeed. AI / ML continues to be our top focus. These largescale efforts will involve collaboration across numerous product and platform engineering teams & xfn stakeholders prioritization decision making tracking & driving operational excellence. Were looking for someone that can work in a TPM greenspace environment and is passionate about people technology and program management. Progress over process is our mantra.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What youll do at Figma:
As a Technical Program Manager youll work closely with our AI Experiences and ML Platform team in driving the development and deployment of cuttingedge AI features and ML platforms.
- You will collaborate closely with xfn teams including engineering data science and product management to define and execute the roadmap for our AI initiatives.
- You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into Figmas platform managing endtoend project lifecycles from initial concept through to production deployment.
- Your responsibilities will include coordinating largescale experiments optimizing model performance oversight on vendor contract management and ensuring robust and scalable AI solutions.
- As a key member of the team you will also be instrumental in driving innovation establishing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in AI and ML at Figma.
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
- Taken largescale AI / ML programs from 0 to 1.
- Deep technical understanding of machine learning algorithms model training and launching AI experiences.
- 4 years of technical program management experience
- Ability to find the balance between driving in a spy manner vs structured program management. Getting results!
- Expertise in organizing and driving complex initiatives like multiteam product launches and multiquarter platform migrations
- Experience operating in ambiguity shepherding product process and/or engineering programs from concept to completion
- The ability to form close effective stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities and incentives
While its not required its an added plus if you also have:
- Vendor management experience for high quality data and annotations for ML models
- Strong bias to action selfmotivation and curiosity with desire to bring people together and deliver high quality results in the constantly evolving growth and excitement of a startup culture
- Experience building and maintaining automated project dashboards (Coda Asana Hex Datadog) and integrations
- Familiarity with a modern scaled web stack (AWS Sinatra React)

Pay Transparency Disclosure
If based in Figmas San Francisco or New York hub offices this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including but not limited to individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience potential impact and scope of role) market demands and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80 and 100 of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.
