The IT Sr. Systems Engineer plays a critical role in supporting and advancing the organizations compute storage virtualization file services backups and public cloud services. As a key member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services (CIPS) Team this position focuses on deploying managing administering and governing modern public cloud services. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in cloud platforms to optimize infrastructure performance security and scalability. This role requires collaboration with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud technologies while maintaining best practices for governance and compliance. The Sr. Systems Engineer will also contribute to automation monitoring and continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

We Require
Four years of related work experience in administering configuring managing installing and troubleshooting server and storage systems
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related field
We Also Value
Experience with public cloud service providers (Azure AWS)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code platforms (Terraform Bicep CloudFormation)
Job Contributions
Leads cloud strategy and implementation Designs deploys and manages public cloud services ensuring best practices for governance security and efficiency.
Performs advanced systems and application support Provides highlevel technical expertise for Windows servers VMware Active Directory storage and backup systems both independently and in collaboration with IT teams.
Manages projects and strategic roadmaps Oversees planning research analysis and requirements gathering to drive IT infrastructure and cloud initiatives.
Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies Conducts research on cloud and infrastructure trends assessing their impact and feasibility for the organization.
Optimizes cost and performance Analyzes Return on Investment (ROI) for new software systems and infrastructure changes to enhance efficiency and costeffectiveness.
Administers and maintains IT systems Designs implements and supports compute storage backup security and cloudbased technologies ensuring high availability and performance.
Provides technical leadership Mentors IT staff assigns tasks and provides guidance on best practices cloud architecture and infrastructure solutions.
Supports system migrations and documentation Coordinates the migration of systems ensuring thorough documentation of procedures and future scalability plans.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues Diagnoses complex IT infrastructure problems including cloud and onprem environments and participates in a 24x7 oncall rotation.
Ensures compliance and security Implements security measures ensures compliance with industry standards and collaborates with teams to maintain a secure IT environment.
Working Conditions
Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time. Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
