Are you an experienced and dedicated teacher with a passion for making a difference Our Physical and Medical Needs team are looking for a qualified Advisory Teacher to join their dedicated team!
As part of this role you will work in schools and settings to promote the inclusion and achievement of children and young people with physical or medical needs some of whom have significant and complex needs. Advisory Teachers have long term involvement with individual children and young people with the most complex needs their families schools and settings and other services that support them. You will work flexibly supporting pupils continued access to education and appropriate progression particularly at times of transition and when needs change.
We are looking for a qualified teacher with extensive experience in SEND exceptional personal organisational and communication skills as well as a creative mindset and a can do attitude. Experience in supporting pupils to overcome physical barriers to learning is particularly valuable and an understanding of manual handling would be advantageous.
The role is based in Trowbridge but involves working across the county requiring independent work and travel to various locations. As the position can sometimes be isolating resilience and resourcefulness will be essential qualities for this role.
