The Senior Procurement Counsel is responsible for providing specialized legal oversight in procurement and regulatory matters focusing on sensitive issues. Key responsibilities include offering legal advice on procurement policies and statutes managing legal matters negotiating vendor contracts ensuring compliance and drafting rules and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for legal services excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Department of Corrections management and other state professionals.
