The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solicitor to join our team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Business Services practice group working with a range of commercial notforprofit and government clients.
You will be part of an energetic team with direct access to a Principal and will have the opportunity to develop your skills across a broad range of interesting Commercial and Property matters.
Key Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assisting with / undertaking all aspects of commercial property transactions including negotiating terms drafting contracts attending to settlement and post settlement matters
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on a range of commercial and property matters across a range of industries including local governments education and small business clients.
- Drafting and negotiating various legal documents including contracts and service agreements.
- Conducting legal research and drafting advices to develop effective legal strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
- Mentor and assist in the development of junior team members.
Role Requirements and Your Experience
The successful applicant could possess the following:
- 14 years post admission experience with across a broad range of general commercial and property matters.
- Demonstrated experience acting in property transactions including specifically PEXA settlements and selfassessment of duty.
- A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound advice to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
