We are seeking a Referrals Coordinator to join our team working collaboratively to enhance the management and response to land and resource referrals ensuring that Seabird Island Bands interests are represented in government and industry consultations.
Under the direction of the InterGovernment Affairs the Referrals Coordinator provides culturally informed analysis and recommendations on land and resource referrals impacting Seabird Island Band and its members. This role involves reviewing and assessing referral documents liaising with government agencies and external stakeholders preparing reports and ensuring that consultation processes align with Indigenous rights and interests. The Referrals Coordinator will also engage in community relations activities to support informed decisionmaking and advocacy efforts on behalf of Seabird Island Band.
This is a term contract with an end date of March 31st 2026.
