The interns will collaborate with colleagues across the School with a strong focus on members of the TAPLab group which does research on DNA physics. The interns will explore the researchers and the workthey do to stimulate the production of original artwork to be produced with input from our team. Final artwork to include around 10 elements of different scales (to be agreed at the start of position depending on art specialties). After the placement you will have the possibility to run paid artsphysics workshops for local community groups.
Applications from illustrators and glass artists are particularly welcome (we have a large professional glass kiln).
This post is fixed term 2 months) and fulltime 35 hours per week); however we are open to considering parttime or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a noncontractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular oncampus working.
The salary for this post is 23414 per annum.
