Who we want
Join our team as an Administrative Coordinator I where youll oversee administrative operations maintain calendars and monitor events. Supporting faculty and staff at the Center on the Structural Constitution youll plan and manage event logistics handle travel arrangements for visiting speakers and ensure compliance with TAMU and School of Law policies. Be the backbone of our operations and help us achieve excellence!

Salary: $50000 $52000/Compensation will be commensurate to selected hires experience

Schedule: This position may require some work afterhours and on weekend hours and some travel
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years of experience in office administration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in university and/or legal administration and/or event planning
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Interpersonal and communication skills
Planning and organization skills
Responsibilities
Administrative Operations Management:
Oversees planning and of administrative operations
Maintains calendar and event monitoring
Reviews and monitors project and program timelines and proactively identifies potential problems and opportunities
Coordinates inventory and maintenance of office supplies and equipment
Researches and responds to inquiries about office procedures and processes
Develops and maintains administrative office procedures
Serves as primary or backup administrative support to assigned functional areas
Support and Coordination:
Provides administrative support for faculty and staff of the Center on the Structural Constitution
Interfaces and coordinates with other TAMU faculty and staff to support Center activities and events
Assembles and maintains contact lists and a variety of fiscal administrative and academic records
Event Planning:
Plans and coordinates logistical and administrative support for meetings receptions conferences speeches lectures panels colloquia seminars and other special events and provides onsite support
Purchases materials and coordinates catering facilities dcor and staffing for Center events
Coordinates setup and breakdown of physical infrastructure for events
Reserves event spaces and arranges travel including accommodations and flight reservations for visiting speakers
Submits and tracks requests for reimbursements
Coordinates postevent followup activities and contacts
Compliance and Policy Oversight:
Monitors and ensures compliance with TAMU and School of Law policies and procedures and relevant regulations
Assists in establishing protocols to ensure compliance with relevant policies procedures and regulations
Analyzes requirements for projects and initiatives
Provides technical information regarding administrative procedures
