The Role

Were looking for a Growth Marketer to help drive scalable and creative growth strategies for Tavus. Our ideal partnerincrime works well in startup environments wears many helmets and has been around the block. Were moving fast and not looking for people to come along for the ride were looking for people to pave the path.

This isnt a traditional growth marketing role youll be a generalist skewed growth doing all the work related to growth which could mean venturing into messaging technical system set up brand campaigns or really anything needed to achieve the goal. Youll be expected to get spy and drive results without having to manage a large budget.

Your Mission

  • Own and optimize the entire selfserve customer journey across the Tavus platform to maximize selfserve revenue growth expansion and activation. Includes user acquisition.
  • Drive mid market and enterprise pipeline working closely with sales to refine ICP and identify intent signals.
  • Get creative and do what it takes to drive brand awareness and growth which could mean reddit events community email sequencing demand generation lifecycle or more. Youll be running 01 playbooks not optimizing an existing machine.
  • Develop formalize and meticulously manage every conversion point in the marketing funnel obsessing over testing and refinement. Were okay taking big swings incremental improvements dont move the needle
  • Execute spy growth experiments and groundup initiatives iterating quickly to find what works. Applying your learnings to build the end to end growth strategy.
  • Own and optimize email marketing funnels to drive activation retention and expansion. Includes lifecycle campaigns automated sequencing and highconverting nurture flows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in earlystage startups (can point to key case studies and metrics you drove)
  • Deep expertise and proven success in at least a couple of key growth areas (e.g. user acquisition conversion optimization or growth hacking).
  • An understanding of both selfserve and salesled growth motions and a knack for ideating creative ways to drive both.
  • Ability to appeal to diverse audiences including developers founders and midmarket/enterprise buyers tailoring messaging to each.
  • Strong bias for action with a track record of independently solving problems in fastpaced environments. Unblock yourself and get it over the finish line. You dont need a slew of people in specialized roles to get stuff done you just do it.
  • Clear crisp communication
  • A deep and genuine excitement for AI specifically conversational/video products
  • Bonus: Experience with video marketing technical products or building growth loops.

Additionally having some of the following experiences may help you be successful in this position:

  • Has marketing experience with frontier tech
  • Taste and visual aesthetic sense and strong writing ability
  • Experience working on technical or developerfocused products
  • Likes datadriven decisionmaking but isnt afraid to rely on intuition
  • Former founder or product experience is a plus
