Summary

The HR Services Supervisor is responsible for effectively managing HR inquiries from the firms lawyers and business professionals including ensuring prompt and accurate replies and an exceptional engagement experience. This role oversees the daily operations of the HR Services team balancing and prioritizing workloadand meeting or exceeding service level agreements and satisfaction goals.

Location

This position is remote. Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance to the home office and must be based in one of the following offices: Miami Tampa Dallas Short Hills Phoenix Raleigh Boston Chicago Reston San Diego Los Angeles Seattle Washington DC Atlanta Baltimore Houston Minneapolis Philadelphia or Wilmington.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching training mentoring and professional development to a team of coordinators. Responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis.

  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance ensuring quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.

  • Analyze team workload identify opportunities for workflow improvement and escalate recommendations. Manage the daytoday work delegation and prioritization of team support.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex requests as well as an initial point of contact for partners employees former employees and retirees on most transactional HR needs and requests.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for HR business processes and systems including Knowledge Base articles SOPs templates and escalation protocols.

  • Manage the accuracy accessibility timeliness and consistency of HR data. Monitor data quality and define enrichment strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with HR Centers of Excellence and administrative departments (ex. IT Operations Accounting etc). Collaborate with groups to improve and streamline HR processes and systems providing an exceptional user experience.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Uses best practices in workflow management solutioning for self and processes: experience utilizing process improvement methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement; experience with workflow design project management and time management skills.

Knowledgeable in several HR areas of specialty particularly benefits and general operations. Intermediate skills with MS Office (Word Excel); Workday and ServiceNow or similar system experience. Strong customer service focus centered on building an exceptional employee experience. Delegates work effectively encourages collaboration pushes others to achieve results keeps team informed to bring projects to completion develops strong network of contacts and builds trust throughout the firm drives improvement through collaboration with other departments and provides current direct complete and actionable feedback. Consistently meets or exceeds performance expectations and invested in professional career development. Freely shares expertise and knowledge to support team demonstrates political savvy and uses sound judgement in all situations.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field

Certificates

  • SHRMCP or PHR certification preferred

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 6 years relevant work experience

  • 2 years supervisory experience

Preferred Experience

  • Proficiency in English/Spanish with fluency in reading writing and speaking

Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
