Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated hiring salary is $85000 $95000 and is competitive and negotiable depending on the strength of qualifications.This is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) position.

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice President of Compliance and Civil Rights the Deputy Administrator for Investigations (Sexual Harassment & Discrimination) is primarily responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations into complaints of sexual harassment discrimination retaliation and related misconduct. This position also oversees the work of external investigators to ensure compliance with institutional policies federal and state laws and best practices.

While the primary focus is on investigations the Deputy Administrator supports and assists with intake case resolutions and prevention efforts as needed. Additionally this role contributes to fostering a safe inclusive and equitable campus environment by ensuring accountability and compliance with laws such as Title VII Title IX VAWA and Campus SaVE.

The Deputy Administrator for Investigations works collaboratively with campus stakeholders to support education prevention initiatives and systemic improvements in the universitys response to reports of misconduct.
