Job Description
Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multistate) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelors degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- One 1 year experience as an RN in acute care setting required

Department/Unit Summary
4A is a 12bed unit with a 1:56 nurse to patient ratio. We care for postoperative patients including spine surgery orthopedics adult ENT abdominal thoracic vascular and urology cases. We also see general medical patients. 4A is unique in that it is a small closeknit department where nurses and physicians work well together to achieve our common goals. We have physical room for growth and hope to expand our capacity as we grow our surgical services in the future!
