Lakewood Care Center is a 100bed Medicare certified skilled longterm care facility recognized by Nursing Home Compare as one of the best nursing homes in Minnesota based on survey results involving nursing staff health inspections and quality measures. We pledge to treat every person with the respect and dignity they deserve and to focus on improving our residents quality of life by delivering the highest quality of care.
Mission for RN or LPN Care Center
The RN or LPN at the Care Center will provide quality personalized care for residents through implementing their plan of care with compassion quality and integrity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Dispense medication
- Complete treatments
- Communicate information regarding resident needs through written and verbal communication to appropriate staff members
- Observe proper infection control and safety procedures
- Respond positively to feedback (questions suggestions problems) from residents guests family members and fellow staff
Position Type
We offer flexible scheduling to promote work/life balance. Available shifts include:
- Offering flexible scheduling
- Shifts are: 6:00AM 2:30PM 6:00AM6:30PM 2:00PM10:30PM 5:45PM 6:15AM
- NOC Weekend Warrior: Work three 12s get paid for 40
- Charge nurse training with additional pay offered
- Weekends every third
- Holidays some
Starting pay of $24.96/hr for LPNs does not include additional compensation available through:
- Competitive shift differential (PM/Noc) shift pickup overtime
- Increases based on certifications education RN licensure experience or additional duties
