Job Description
About the Practice:
Our clients modern stateoftheart dental practice in Traverse City is committed to providing exceptional care. With the recent addition of the Vatech CBCT Green X you will have access to advanced digital imaging technology supporting your work with the latest tools in dental care.
Location:
Traverse City MI (and surrounding areas)
Compensation:
$150K base salary with bonus potential
CE stipend malpractice insurance 401K
Qualifications:
DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADAaccredited dental school
Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
Current Michigan Dental License and DEA License
CPR BLS and NPI certifications
Uptodate knowledge of dental medicine and standards
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction
Prior clinical or private practice experience preferred but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Every other Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Paid Holidays:
New Years Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Vacation Days:
10 Business days per year earned based on tenure
Health Insurance:
Available with 50 of costs covered by the employer
Dental Insurance:
After 3 months of employment:Complimentary exams xrays cleanings and fillings performed by the practice
Doctor/hygienistperformed work at no charge (except for lab fees)
Family members receive a 30 discount parents receive a 15 discount
Additional Benefits:
401(k) program participation option
Required Job Skills:
DDS or DMD degree from an ADAaccredited dental school
Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
Current Michigan Dental License and DEA License
Postgraduate clinical experience is ideal but not mandatory

Requirements
Preferred Software Skills:
Familiarity with Word Excel or equivalent
Experience with EagleSoft dental management software is helpful but not required
Certifications/Training Requirements:
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Dentistry
