Job Description
- Education:
- A completed Masters degree in business administration operations management supply chain management business analytics or a closely related field is required.
- 18 credits of graduate coursework related to the field of instruction is required.
- A terminal degree (e.g. PhD DBA JD) is preferred.
- A completed Masters degree in business administration operations management supply chain management business analytics or a closely related field is required.
- Experience:
- At least one year of practice experience in business analytics operations management supply chain analytics or a closely related fieldis required.
- Prior and relevant teaching experience is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities is preferred.
- At least one year of practice experience in business analytics operations management supply chain analytics or a closely related fieldis required.
Because this appointment is temporary in nature you will not be eligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided to faculty under the standard University of Colorado benefits programs. You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave medical or retirement benefits. However you are eligible to accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.

This is an evergreen Lecturer Pool for the College of Businessat UCCS. Applications will be reviewed on a semesterbysemester basis as business needs arise.
Who We Are
Pay Range: $3000 $5000 for a 3credit hour course. Pay rate is dependent upon (a) the number of courses taught (b) the type of courses taught (e.g. undergraduate graduate) and (c) the education level held by the lecturer.This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.
Work Location: Determined by course modality: Oncampus online or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
Summary
TheCollege of Business and Administrationat theUniversity of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Quantitative Methods & Business Analytics from which future appointments to temporary nontenure track positions will be made. Appointments are parttime (less than 50 time) and will be made semesterbysemester.
This position will teach Operations Management and Project Management classes. For example Fundamentals of Operations Management Managing Projects for Competitive Advantage Project Estimation and Risk Management. Classes may be oncampus online or hybrid. Classes may be oncampus online or hybrid.
This is a revolving Lecturer Pool for the College of Business. If there is a course opening and your qualifications match a course and the minimum requirements you may be contacted at that time.

Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students both inperson and online courses.
- Maintains develop and schedules student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
- Plans develops and implements evaluation tools to assess student process towards course learning objectives.
- Be familiar with learning management systems such as Canvas.
- Other duties as determined by the College of Business.
