Job Description
The Department of History at St. Olaf College invites applications for a parttime .83 FTE) oneyear position in the history of the Middle East or Latin America at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 2025.
Candidates with comparative approaches to indigenous history race and ethnicity empire postcolonialism and environmental topics are especially encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will teach five undergraduate courses. Teaching responsibility includes introductory surveys and midlevel courses.
Salary: $49000 $53000
Qualifications
Teaching experience is preferred as is having a Ph.D. inhand at time of the appointment.
