Job Description
Job Summary:
At Winans we handcraft coffee and chocolates to inspire moments of joy. As an associate you will create a memorable experience for our customers by providing friendly customer service with prompt service quality beverages and products and by maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Our team is small but hardworking and we create a fun positive work environment with lots of perks like chocolate and coffee!
Job Responsibilities:
- Greets all customers with fast friendly personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names favorite drinks and food items.
- Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services including our company history and growth.
- Follows all company drink recipes and procedures consistently and maintains the highest quality standards.
- Responsible for the understanding of coffee regions and the various differences in flavor and blends.
- Responsible for understanding our chocolate line packaged chocolates and candies and the various differences in flavors and ingredients.
- Maintains efficient friendly service.
- Restocks shelves when necessary.
- Routinely cleans the bar area floor windows and grinders and takes out trash etc.
- Assists in the distribution of weekly shipments.
Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Maintains positive company morale and professional attitude.
- Selfmotivator and ability to work independently.
- Regularly required to stand walk for an entire shift.
- Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30lbs.
- Able to climb stairs multiple times per shift.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
Hours/Days:
- We are open Sunday through Saturday 7am8pm and most holidays. Shifts typically are 58 hours long.
- Must be able to work weekends
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $11$15/hour tips and performance bonuses (with tip share hourly rate can be $18$23/hour).
