Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Requires thorough knowledge of sourcing lifecycles to independently research evaluate and plan a comprehensive portfolio of contracts and purchases based on past performance future needs and strategic direction
- Assists with simultaneous initiatives by monitoring and reviewing the use of a comprehensive portfolio of specialized and ongoing procurement contracts from individual suppliers to determine whether to renew or replace current contracts
- Tracks and reviews complaints to vendor (CTV)
- Reviews sourcing history to provide quality assurance and change control to negotiate more favorable terms and costs
- Identifies and evaluates risk(s) and utilizes the project and procurement life cycle to fulfill stakeholder needs
- Builds contract portfolio across multiple program areas
- Plans and tracks individual procurement contracts define requirements quality standards and timelines determines and evaluates risks that may affect the project to determine if contract meets the needs of the program area
- Defines specific activities to be performed to produce project deliverables to determine costs projections and identify cost savings and ensures project is ready to move on to the next phase
- Addresses any problems found during due diligence
- Ensure scheduled time frames are met and delivery problems solved
- Provides supplier performance data
- Provides market analyses and evaluate market trends with fiscal year looking at spend data to determine where contracts should be developed
- Maintains knowledge in the fields of Procurement Project Management Public Procurement and Contracts
- Communicates with suppliers stakeholders and clients to ensure that needs are met Provide regular progress reports to management and clients

Or completion of undergraduate core in public or business administration purchasing materials management contracting acquisition management or logistics supply chain management operations management or other sourcing related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
Or Completion of graduate core in public or business administration purchasing materials management contracting acquisition management or logistics supply chain management operations management or other sourcing related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
Or 24 mos. exp. as Sourcing Analyst 64512.
Or 12 mos. exp. as Senior Sourcing Analyst 64513.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
