The Role:
Were seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager (NPP) to be engaged in a 12month max term contract role.
This role will see you manage the of business initiatives for AP stakeholders ensuring they align with NPP objectives ensure the timely budgetcompliant and highquality delivery of NPP initiatives within the defined scope.
Day to day you will lead the NPP Squads delivery offering support to other key streams as necessary for the APF program in addition to supervising and coordinating a small team of squadassigned resources promoting collaboration and efficiency.
Proposed Role Responsibilities are:
As a Senior Project Manager youll balance multiple key responsibilities:
- Lead and organise the NPP (bulk payment processing) squad overseeing operations to ensure successful delivery of outcomes resource planning management and quality RAIDD handling.
- Collaborate with SWIFT vendors to design and implement NPP platform capabilities that support bulk payment processing.
- Partner with FSS to design and deliver necessary platform capabilities.
- Work alongside the Product Lead to coordinate participant design workshops and implementation planning.
- Develop and maintain detailed delivery schedules including supporting the transition to live planning and related activities.
- Provide project reports to highlight and manage delivery risks including contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project scope collaborating with stakeholders to assess test and refine requirements while managing change controls.
- Identify and manage interdependencies and issues within the NPP squad.
- Demonstrate flexibility in attending meetings outside of normal working hours as required.
Proposed Position Requirements are:
- Experience working with payment vendor applications (e.g. Swift FIS).
- Experience with NPP Payments and Infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in project management with a successful track record leading enterprisewide projects ideally within the payments industry.
- Familiarity with the ISO 20022 standard including understanding its elements and business rule usage.
- Experience coordinating and participating in payment industry working groups as well as reporting on their progress.
- Experience guiding payment industry participants through major change initiatives including tracking testing and readiness status.
- Working knowledge of project methodologies (PMBOK Prince II Agile).
- Proficiency in MS Project JIRA and similar tools.
