PRN Caregiver

Job Summary

Immediate opening!!! A Special Touch In Home Care is looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team! The right candidate has a cando attitude a friendly demeanor and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

This is a PRN position between 2035 hours weekly. Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY your own transportation to transport clients to/from doctors appointments or errands be ok with pets/smokers like to travel and be willing to learn or already know how to use a hoyer lift and gait belt.

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments walks etc.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals including serving and other tasks if necessary

• Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
