Our client is part of an independent familyowned company with global market leadership 45000 associates an annual turnover of 26.4 billion euros) in BtoB distribution of electrical products solutions and related services.

An opportunity has arisen for an inspiring selfdriven person who can lead a team of motivated Account Managers as the Regional Sales Leader of our Northwest Sales Region.

You will be responsible for leading the team and our strategy within the Northwest region of the UK to ensure growth in sales and profitability are achieved in line with the Companys goals and objectives.

We are looking for someone with initiative determination and selfmotivation who enjoys dealing with people and working as part of a team. They will need to be able to listen to our customers so that we can understand their needs and determine solutions based on the technology and resource we have available.

The key facets of the role will include:
  • Coach manage motivate and lead a team of professionals to enable their high performance
  • Effective territory planning in order to maximise customer contact and proactive canvassing for new business
  • New trading account generation.
  • Produce regular reports on current status projected sales region targets and forecasting.
  • Oversee accuracy efficiency and effectiveness of your teams call plan for customer facing time
  • Communicate and interface with all other sales teams specialist teams and departments to develop opportunities and resolve commercial issues with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for sales and profitability of the sales region and your own set accounts
  • Presenting to various audiences on a range of subjects including the Routeco value proposition product demonstrations services and commercial overviews.
  • Remain customer focused strategic and with a can do attitude at all times.
  • Take charge of your personal development and contribute to the evaluation of performance in line with the companys core competencies and learning and development framework.
  • Observe Health & Safety policy and procedures

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING
A natural influencer with great motivational skills and ability to create and maintain relationships both internally and with customers. You will have a friendly approach but able to be assertive when required.

An accomplished leader who can mentor and encourage the team to provide a top level of service and is comfortable with all elements of people management.

The job calls for a person with a good standard education ideally with a keen interest in technology. It is essential you have previous experience in a commercial / business to business sales environment preferably with experience of Automation and Control products.
