Overview
Position:Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA
Location: Shawnee OK (Pottawatomie County Schools)
Schedule:PRN at least 1 day/week during school hours.
Compensation: $30.00$35.00/hour (pending experience)
Our outpatient pediatric center in Shawnee OK is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. This is a schoolbased position 12 days/week. Previous pediatric occupational therapy/schoolbased therapy is preferred.
Responsibilities
- DetailOriented: Observe note and report on the progress of long and shortterm treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
- Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
- High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
- Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist optimize patients functional abilities and skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
- State COTA license (or license eligible)
- CPR certification
- Valid state drivers license
