SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Program Manager will work with the NYC Digital Service team to organize plan and track workstreams to deliver nyc redesign and other projects as needed. The project manager will be involved in stakeholder and working team meetings. All ongoing work and deliverables will be reviewed together with the NYC Digital Service Design team.
TASKS:
- Manage workstreams for build of nyc core to delivery high quality digital experiences on time.
- Establish track project deliverables and help mitigate obstacles in executing a work plan for project activities sprints or phases.
- Lead and manage sprint planning and task management.
- Monitor project activities document agreements communicate to project stakeholders and escalate issues on a timely basis.
- Establish deadlines and monitor the progress of the project following up with relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings with teams and stakeholders with clear prioritized agendas and provide timely recaps and drive resolution of next steps
Requirements
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing redesigns across multiple web brands
- Hands on experience migrating content management system with search and translations.
- Expertise working in a matrix environment aligning stakeholders and principals.
- Demonstrated experience leading creative development and QA teams to deliver websites and web features from ideation to launch with attention to detail and quality user experiences.
- Deep knowledge of agile project management practices with experience leading sprints in a large organization and proactive planning
- Experience pairing with other disciples to launch digital tools and services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate and work with leadership experts and decision makers crossfunctionally and across teams coaching teams to drive outcomes
- Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices
- Experience setting up project management processes for cross functional teams that have various ways of working.
