Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineerworking onUser Lifecycle you will play a pivotal role in improving how we acquire activate and retain users. You will work closely with teams across Discovery and Growth Marketing focusing on developing and implementing technical solutions for driving traffic to Roblox and guiding users towards their next best action on the platform.
If youre an experienced software engineer with a passion for improving the user experience on and off the platform youll feel right at home with our growing team.
You will report to the Engineering Manager on the Discovery UX team.
You Will:
- Work across our tech stack to deliver the correct experiences to users on and off the platform
- Partner with Growth Marketing and Product teams to prioritize and iterate on solutions
- Use the best programming practices optimizing code to be performant across a range of platforms and devices
- Take ownership of projects throughout its full lifecycle
- Collaborate with other teams within Roblox to make sure we are building products with a community approach
You Have:
- 6 years of software development experience working on userfacing features
- Familiarity with React or other web technologies
- Experience in compiled languages such as C# or Java
- A record of taking a strategic approach to challenging technical problems and seeing them to completion
- The attitude to jump into different technologies to solve problems
- (Bonus) Experience in Search Engine Optimization
