Job Description
Teledyne Wireless is a flagship business unit of Teledyne Microwave Solutions (TMS) with over 50 years of experience in the design development and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges.

DESCRIPTION:
The microwave technician will be responsible for the Thin Film tuning aligning troubleshooting and final testing of microwave components subsystems and integrated assemblies. A strong knowledge of microwave test equipment like scalar and network analyzers spectrum analyzers power meters noise figure meters and digital scopes is required. Some mechanical assembly may be required. In many cases technicians will be required to work with engineers on new product releases or to troubleshoot a product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will include preliminary testing pulse focusing assembling tubes for test disassembling returned TWTs for replacement and environmental testing. Individual must have experience testing electronic assemblies using both traditional and nontraditional tooling such as multimeter oscilloscope spectrum analyzer power supply function generator LCD meter power meters etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in electrical/electronic testing
- Familiarity with various types of test equipment (multimeters oscilloscopes and other test equipments)
- RF and technical knowledge and experience is a plus
- Possess a solid understanding of ohms law and basic electronics theory
- Detailoriented and possess strong communication skills
- Able to provide daily updates
- Understand production schedules and shipments
- Passion for testing and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment
- A technical associate degree or equivalent military training is required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a D.O.D. security clearance.
Salary Range:
$50500.00$67300.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
