At CARDINAL LG We are hiring and we are excited to grow with you!!! As a subsidiary of Cardinal Glass Industries our Laminated Glass division is the WORLD LEADER in Laminated Glass production.

We are ACTIVLEY hiring at this time! Currently we have positions available on our production floor and we are looking for rockstar applicants for these open positions. Hours may vary depending on assigned department and shift schedule.
Shift Schedules:
1st Shift:Monday Friday 6:00a.m.2:30p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday Friday 2:00p.m.10:30p.m.
3rd Shift:Sunday Thursday 10:00p.m.6:30a.m.

What positions we are filling:
Production Technician the production technician could work anywhere in the plant and perform work as directed by supervision. Job duties may vary depending on where the Production Technician is working in the plant.
Essential Job Functions:
- Works anywhere in the plant as needed.
- Performs work as directed by supervision.
- Keeps the work area clean and organized.
- Moves glass from one rack to another to prepare for shipment.
- May spray powder between the panels of glass.
- Repeat the process until the rack is full.
- Secures the glass with binding honeycomb strips and corner boards.
- Work elsewhere as directed by supervision.
- Reads and comprehends safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals along with other similar documents.
- Requires the need to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Trims the excess vinyl off units from clave racks and places them on the inspection lines.
- Produces a quality product in a timely manner.
- Wears all the required personal protective equipment for the specific job.
- Works as a Cardinal team member not a specific department member.
What we require (minimum required qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Prior production work preferred.
- Requires ability to read a tape measure to 16ths.
- Requires standing all day.
- Requires ability handle glass up to 50 pounds by themselves. Any glass over 50 pounds requires at least two people working together. Will often require team lifting of 100 or more pounds.
