Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Associate Systems Engineer (Desktop)with a strong background in IT support troubleshooting and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This is a fulltime or a parttime onsite position that requires occasional travel to various locations across Sydney and interstate.
IF YOU WERE HERE YESTERDAY HERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN:
- Providing first and secondlevel support for desktoprelated issues
- Installing configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software components on desktops and laptops
- Collaborating with endusers to resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Performing routine maintenance tasks including updates patches and system upgrades
- Monitoring and managing desktop security ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Working closely with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of desktop systems with other infrastructure components
- Taking service desk calls as needed.
KEEN TO GET INVOLVED YOULL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or similar role
- Excellent problemsolving and ability to work independently
- Positive attitude strong interpersonal skills and the willingness to seek assistance when needed
- Essential: Current active Government Security clearance
