Job Description
Overview
Nakupuna Federal is seeking a Data Analyst visualization expert and program management professional to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to an Army customer. The ideal candidate should be familiar with military customs and courtesies have strong oral and written communication skills. This role requires a strong analytical mindset attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Responsibilities
The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
- Provide applicable reports dashboards and data visualizations to analyze timelines performance statistics workload balancing and trend analysis.
- Present findings and translate the data into useable formats.
- Provide program management support functions to include note taking and brief development.
- Compile organize and clean data for input into dashboards.
- Apply sound strategies for obtaining quality data from different sources integrating and developing actionable information to support quantitative analysis.
- Assist in the design of processes tools or databases to distill key findings and provide recommendations to improve the program.
- Maintain and collect data using different tools and statistical techniques such as MS SQL queries from various databases such as but not limited to MS Excel MS Access SharePoint and data management systems to provide accurate and reliable administrative reports presentations and dashboards as required.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:Excellent technical skills organizational and planning skills communication and problemsolving skills problem analysis attention to detail and accuracy solid judgment and decisionmaking ability takes initiative and is adaptable and customer service oriented. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities with minimum direction and supervision. Specifically the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge skills and abilities:
- Demonstrated experience working with Power BI and/or Tableau SharePoint Excel SQL and programming languages (e.g. Python).
- Experience with PowerApps preferred.
- Strong quantitative ability and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Experience with DoD is preferred.
Education/Experience:This position requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis and visualization.
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: Crystal City Virginia
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
