Assistant ServiceManager
Reports to: Service Manager
Summary: The Assistant Service Manager will actreliably and professionally to support Signals Service department needs. Supportincludes but is not limited to assisting the Service Manager withadministration of the technicians and general operation of the department bothin the office and out in the field if needed.
EssentialFunctions:
Manage personnel to include schedulingevaluation disciplinary action.
Recruit and hire new personnel with assistancefrom the Service Manager.
Critical thinking for both department managementand department sales.
Material procurement and planning.
Inventory tracking and accuracy.
of training plans developed by theteam.
Care for and follow up with customers in aproactive professional manner maintaining the companys industryleadingreputation.
Assist Service Manager with the generaloperation needs of the department on an ongoing and as needed basis.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PreferredKnowledge Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Exceletc.
Punctual in all aspects of the job includingdeadline management and timely completion
Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects andmanage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment with impeccableaccuracy and attention to detail
Upbeat and positive attitude
Prior demonstrated interpersonal communicationskills with specializations in motivation accountability and conflictresolution.
Demonstrated ability to effectively problemsolve
Exemplary organizational and time managementskills
Previous experience in administration requiredprevious industry experience preferred
Ability to adapt and remain flexible whilelooking for opportunities to increase and maintain operational efficiency
Job requirements:
Company hours of operation 8 am 5 pm. Monday Friday.
High school diploma GED or equivalent required.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and workingon a computer when not working in the field.
Ability to meet the physical demands of thetechnician job (standing and walking for long periods of time lifting heavyloads of up to 50 pounds etc. with or without an accommodation.
Prior supervisory experience of at least 24years required.
Reliable transportation.
Time in the field to learn and assist with thework performed by technicians.
Mechanical ability required.
Must be able to work in a variety of weatherconditions when working in the field.
Strong work ethic.
Commitment to safety rules.
