St. Mary Magdalen Parish is currently accepting resumes for a parttime Housekeeping position. This hourly role offers flexible working hours and is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with parish groups to ensure successful events and activities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform routine cleaning tasks including restrooms classrooms interior and exterior windows floors and carpets.
- Restock and resupply restrooms and janitorial closets.
- Document and report maintenance needs and repairs.
- Monitor inventory order and restock cleaning and janitorial supplies.
- Collaborate with various parish groups (e.g. Knights of Columbus blood drives fundraisers diocesan events) to coordinate event preparation and support.
- Assist with event setup and cleanup including reconfiguring spaces moving tables and chairs emptying trash and ensuring cleanliness after events.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in custodial janitorial or housekeeping roles preferred.
- Requirements:
- Valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of and experience with cleaning products and their proper use.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as moving furniture lifting and event setup.
