Per Diem OBGYN Generalist
Worcester MA
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a per diem OBGYN Generalistto join our dynamic team. We welcome and support physician caregivers from all Academic Ranks to apply and join us in our relentless pursuit of healing.
The Division of General Obstetrics & Gynecology is the largest division of the UMass OB/GYN department. It currently includes 15 providers including 11 MDs and 5 nurse practitioners. The Generalist divisions missions include providing comprehensive care to women across the reproductive age span within the discipline of obstetrics and gynecology a commitment to the educational mission of the University of Massachusetts Medical School with involvement in the medical student and resident curriculums of the institution and participation in ongoing clinical research of womens health care. Providers have extensive experience with a full range of surgical care and continue to expand their skills to provide evolving care options.
The divisions faculty see patients in two ambulatory settings. One is located on the Memorial campus of UMass Memorial Medical Center providing a convenient link to the services of the Maternity Unit and the larger institution. Onsite obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound is available to patients. The other is located at Northborough Crossing in Northborough Massachusetts. Complementing our clinical practices the division provides consultative services to Family Medicine practices in the region and family planning services at Planned Parenthood in Worcester.
Caregiver Requirements:
Passionate for supporting the academic mission. We are educators for the UMass Chan Medical School and our own OB/GYN residents 20. Our resident compliment will be increasing to 24 over the next several years.
Seeking a complex rewarding and busy clinical practice amongst a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Comfortable with the full range of general OB/GYN practice.
