Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible PartTime Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) to join our healthcare team in Centennial United States. As a QMAP you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medications to our residents on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and established protocols
- Accurately document medication administration in patient records
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and healthcare regulations
- Assist with basic patient care tasks as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in medication administration
Qualifications :
- Current QMAP certification
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient mobility
- Previous experience as a QMAP or in a similar healthcare role preferred
- Basic computer skills for electronic recordkeeping
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics
- Ability to work the specified schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays from 6 AM to 6:30 PM
