- Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday Friday 8am4:30pm
- Location:Grand Rapids MI

What youll do
- Maintenance for existing HVAC units maintain repair preventative maintenance
- Installs and repairs hydronic pumps pipes and fittings.
- Establishes and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks independently or in coordination with facility maintenance staff.
- Troubleshoots and repairs control systems including valves and air compressors.
- Troubleshoots and repairs refrigeration equipment.
- Assembles installs and repairs pipes fittings and fixtures of heating water and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Performs duties with the highest concern for working in and around residents homes (i.e. noise cleanliness).
- Utilizes work order system to track hours and materials used.
- Estimates materials equipment and labor hours to create quotes for projects.
- Performs other tasks including but not limited to assisting the Lead Maintenance Tech. and assisting with grounds projects.
What it takes
- Formal training in HVAC and refrigeration work.
- Minimum of three 3 years of experience with HVAC.
- Experience with boilers and commercial air handler units preferred
- Must possess a valid unrestricted state of Michigan drivers license.
- Must be able to safely lift push pull and carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
