About the Role:
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms including making beds with precision vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company adhering to strict time management practices.
- Utilise specialised cleaning equipment and products provided by us with full training to ensure effective and safe use.
- Build strong professional relationships with fellow staff members guests and contractor personnel to support a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and linens reporting any shortages or issues to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities or services ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste materials.
- Report any maintenance issues damaged items or safety concerns observed in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping storage areas and service corridors.
- Participate in periodic deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by management.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient room turnover.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded
- Physical fitness and stamina with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests team members and contractors
- Positive attitude team spirit and a strong work ethic
- Reliable punctual and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays as required
