About the role
Be responsible for defining the Data & Analytics platforms architecture strategy target states transitional states and roadmaps as an integrated part of our wider Enterprise Architecture.
This will include our key current state and target state data platform technologies that support Suncorps BI and AI goals:
- Databricks
- Redshift
- Tableau
- Power BI
- Fivetran
- Collibra
- Dbt Cloud
- AWS Cloud
Additionally the role will include the definition of endtoend data architecture to be delivered on the data platforms to support BI and AI initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be proactive selfmotivated and be able to work autonomously to achieve the mission of the Enterprise Architecture CoE. There is a strong need for verbal and written communication skills as these are key to engaging stakeholders across the Business and Technology teams. You must be comfortable with engaging at executive and sometimes CIO level with the ability to clearly document present explain influence and guide teams.
What youll bring
- Bachelor degree in IT or related disciplines or equivalent experience is expected
- Architectural certification (e.g. TOGAF or other) is expected
- Specialist knowledge and experience in Data & Analytics platforms and architecture
- Specialist knowledge of current and emerging industry data architecture concepts
- Minimum 10 years IT experience is expected
- Minimum 5 years IT Architecture experience is expected
- Familiarity with ArchiMate is expected
- Experience with Agile & Lean methodologies is desired
- Insurance or Financial services experience is desired
- Consulting background is advantageous
