An experienced Diabetes Dietitian is urgently needed for a Band 6 locum position in London working parttime Wednesday to Friday. This role requires covering MultiDisciplinary Team (MDT) clinics providing expert dietary advice and support for patients with diabetes. The position is available to start immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on patient care.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutritional advice to patients with diabetes including those with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. You will work as part of an MDT collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. This includes conducting individual patient assessments providing group education sessions reviewing and adjusting dietary plans and supporting patients in managing their condition through lifestyle changes. You will also be expected to provide ongoing followup and education monitor patient progress and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the service. Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
