Job Description


Title: Assistant Commercial Account Manager
Compensation Range:$65000$70000
Schedule: Monday Friday8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m

Location:Westlake Village CA (remote or hybrid may be considered)

As the Assistant Account Manager you will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional client service while growing your career in the insurance industry. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers to provide innovative solutions and build strong relationships with clients and insurance carrier representatives. Youll be an essential part of ensuring seamless service handling a designated book of business with professionalism and expertise.

What Youll Do as an Assistant Commercial Account Manager:
  • Assist with daytoday servicing of assigned commercial accounts ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Perform technical and administrative tasks including creating editing and processing insurancerelated documentation.
  • Prepare review and present Certificates of Insurance loss history requests coverage inquiries and other key documents.
  • Support the renewal process for new and existing accounts.
  • Follow up with carriers for policy issuance invoices binders and necessary documentation.
  • Maintain and build relationships with clients and insurance carrier representatives.
  • Prepare organize and manage a timely and accurate task or suspense system viewable by supervisors.
What Youll Need to Succeed as Assistant Account Manager:
  • High school diploma required; bachelors degree preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California Property and Casualty License.
  • Strong knowledge of business service functions insurance terminology and various lines of commercial insurance.
  • Familiarity with underwriting and rating principles.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the California insurance industry.
  • Ability to manage complex projects while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating tact diplomacy discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in business practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills fostering collaboration and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to maintain a positive professional demeanor while interacting with employees clients and vendors.

Compensation
$65000$7000annuallymay be eligible for additional discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firms performance.
Compensation will be determined by several factors including educational background and experience.
