Job Description
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a motivated inspiring and goaloriented individual to become its Security Manager for the Centerpointe distribution center in Memphis TN.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The Security Manager works with the Global Field Security team and is responsible for all the different security aspects that are related to your role such as: access control security vendor management apply and implement the Global Security Standards supporting the operations company events and providing a safe and secure workplace to Nike employees and its guests.
Typically your workday consists of meetings phone calls and responses to immediate security concerns and an oversight of the security operations at your assigned location. Additionally
Visitor and employee screening.
External and internal perimeter security protocols.
Security vendor management
Training and awareness programs.
Incident management and response protocols.
Communication strategies and implementation.
Vulnerability assessments.
Employee/vendor screening
CTPAT compliance
Outofstate travel as required.
Security infrastructure maintenance coordination and monitoring.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role you will collaborate with the Global Safety & Security teams Human Resources security vendors WD&C (facilities) building landlord contingent workforce leadership local law enforcement and more. You will oversee the contract security management of the contract security service provider at your facility.
WHAT YOU BRING
Previous physical security knowledge required to inspect: Life Safety Systems Alarm and CCTV systems Motion Systems Access Control Badging systems. Out of State travel when required or directed. Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred.
35 years of minimum experience supporting and running physical security access control systems.
Technical indepth knowledge of IP based physical security systems such as access control systems biometrics alarms cameras and networks.
Analytical and decisionmaking abilities.
Proficient with MS Office Products including Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint.
Minimum 5 years experience in one or all the following fields: corporate security management security and asset policy development transportation/supply chain security and/or guard force utilization.
5 years as a security manager in a multilocation corporate environment and vulnerability assessments.
Experience as a Security Manager for large complex operating locations.
Shown experience as leader committed to improvement.
