Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic ABA Special Education Teacher to join our team in supporting students with various learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with students who face diverse disabilities and learning obstacles. They should demonstrate excellent instructional abilities and a commitment to fostering inclusive and encouraging learning environments.


As an ABA Special Education Teacher you will have a crucial role in delivering personalized instruction accommodations and support services to ensure the academic social and emotional success of all students.


Fulltime starting salary: $40000 per year Parttime and seasonal starting wage: $18.50 per hour. Comprehensive benefits package for fulltime employees including PTO vacation employers contribution to health Insurance (including dental and vision) shortterm disability all federal holidays and winter and spring breaks.

  • Adapt instructional materials methods and assessments to meet the unique needs and abilities of students with disabilities.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in academic subjects life skills social skills and other areas of need both in inclusive settings and specialized settings as appropriate.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies interventions and assistive technologies to address diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies and supports accordingly.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and provide accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities in the general education classroom.
  • Support students in developing selfadvocacy skills selfregulation strategies and independence in learning tasks.
  • Implement behavior management techniques and interventions to support positive behavior and socialemotional development.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress discuss concerns and collaborate on strategies for support.
  • ABA certification or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree in education or a related field.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • RBT certified.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
