Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Security Support team member to join the Industrial Security team located in Tulsa OK. The primary role for this position will involve access / visitor control duties for visitors vendors and other parties visiting the facilities. The role also encompasses processing classified and unclassified visits to L3Harris facilities in Tulsa County. Additionally this role will include supporting the Facility Security Officer and Industrial Security team with additional tasks to include; SIMS database inputs DISS visit requests data input for Security training AOA (Airport badge) administration and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Greet company visitors and assist them in processing through the visitor identification and badging process according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor personnel entering company facilities to ensure they are authorized entry and are displaying proper identification.
- Must possess analytical ability have a positive attitude be a selfstarter and work well with others.
- Provide support in prescreening visitors for access.
- Conduct administrative tasks associated with visitor and access control conference and special event support facility security inspections investigations document control and security education.
- Conduct physical security inspections of classified areas (above ceiling checks) as required.
- Conduct random entry / exit container inspections as instructed by Security management.
- Perform personnel security clearance coordination and processing activities.
- Assist with event and visitor management for onsite events hosted by internal and external customers.
- Ability to move over 25lbs.
- Assist Human Resources with special event planning administrative tasks and other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience withMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) and data entry software
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience working in DoD Collateral security environments.
- Experience working in SAP or SCI security environments.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work under stressful conditions.
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility sound judgment and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills (written verbal)
