- Previous experience in administrative and/or customer facing roles in complex organizations. Experience in insurance Companies is a highly considered.
- Fluent Spanish and English (B2 C1 level CEFR)
- Law/Marine educational background desirable

Within the Operations department of AXA XL Iberia you will join the Middle Office team that aims to provide a highquality service for our clients creating and activating insurance coverage on complex risks.
As Underwriting Assistant Marine you will be responsible for the administrative processes of the endtoend policy lifecycle to be run efficiently at a high quality to serve internal and external clients.

What will your essential responsibilities include
- Contracts handling in an efficient and correct way for new and established Marine businesses by:
- checking the conditions of acceptance of the customers request interacting with the customer if necessary by using various available data sources to make the right decision and give the right advice to brokers and clients
- following up until contract signing or refusal
- developing draft contracts / amendments that fit with customer needs
- modifying coverage concepts if desired by the client / broker
- preparing contracts which are beyond authority and discuss them with the team leader.
- monitoring planning and issuing contractual documents (policies endorsement and certificates)
- Support Credit Control team in the cash allocation for accounts and the monitoring of outstanding unpaid premiums.
- Manage information and process:preparing and sending weekly reports preparing premium flows preparing and sending local policies instructions controlling data quality.
- Follow up new guidelines published for policy administration and Global Programs management.
