Job Description
CoBanks Data Engineering (DE) team is looking for a Data Engineer to design build and optimize data pipelines that power our datadriven strategies. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the efficient and secure movement of data across the organization. This role requires strong technical skills and a passion for building scalable data solutions that align with business objectives.
Essential Functions
1. Design and implement ETL processes for complex data integration tasks.
2. Develop and optimize data models for cloud and onpremises environments.
3. Collaborate with business and engineering teams to gather and understand data requirements.
4. Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of data warehouses and data lakes.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in computer science information systems or a relevant discipline. preferred
Work Experience
3 years 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field required
1. Proficiency in ETL processes and data modeling techniques.
2. Strong knowledge of database design optimization and cloud platforms (especially AWS).
3. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
4. Core Competencies: advanced problemsolving and analytical skills; agile project management and teamwork; leadership potential and initiative.
5. Experience with AWS services and other cloud environments (preferred).
6. Involvement in opensource projects related to data engineering (preferred).
About CoBank
The typical base pay range for this role is between $89600 $110160. Compensation may vary based on individual jobrelated knowledge skills expertise and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
