Join Our Team as a Sewing Machine Operator in Fort Smith AR!
Are you a morning person who loves to sew Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for working with your hands If so we have the perfect opportunity for you! Were looking for a talented Sewing Machine Operator to join our team on the 1st shift working Monday through Thursday from 5:45 am to 4:15 pm.
What Youll Do:
- Get HandsOn:Perform setup and adjustments on sewing machines wind bobbins and replace needles as needed.
- Material Master:Use your extensive knowledge of sewing materials to ensure topnotch operations.
- Quality Control:Stay alert for any product imperfections and report them to your supervisor or lead.
- Safety First:Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and the equipment.
- Team Player:Take on additional duties as assigned and work closely with your team.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience:Ideally you have two years of workrelated experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills:Youre comfortable using hand tools and have basic math reading writing and communication skills.
- DetailOriented:You have a strong attention to detail and can shift priorities as needed.
- Teamwork:You work well with others and can effectively communicate with employees and management.
Physical Requirements:
- Active Role:Youll be standing walking sitting and using your hands to handle objects and tools.
- Flexibility:Youll need to balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl and occasionally lift/move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Vision:Youll need good vision abilities including close distance color peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
